I guess my thought was that I'd rather keep them on the same setting but I have no reason for that other than my ocd. Bilstein does indeed recommend to offset the lean with notching up that side. If I end up setting 4 on passenger, there is nothing wrong with being at 5 on driver side, performance wise?

I looked at it like it’s the same thing as running fully adjustable coilovers and cranking the drivers side up a few more turns Which it pretty standard practice

I have heard rumors Rogue Offroad has them in stock, but that may not be the case any longer

They're a popular vendor. I've contacted them and they are out of the 3rd gen specific 6112's. They do have the 2nd gen applications though that'll work as well, but you'll need to go with a top spacer mount to get it leveled.

I used the 5mm spacer from headstrong on the driver's side and the same settings on each side.

3/8" spacer on mine, and still had a small amount of lean.

I ordered the gen2 6112's and a 1/4" spacer for each side. Depending on who you talk to, some say don't use them, some say do, some say use only a 3/8" spacer on driver side only so i'm not sure what I am going to do. I get the springs back next week from the powder coater and then I will assemble them. Hopefully before then I'll know which clip I should set them at and what to do about the spacers.

The guy at Rogue Offroad told me to get the spacers to use to achieve the lift I want which is around 2.5"

Do you have 2nd gen or 3rd gen 6112's? If 2nd gen, which clip did you go with?

I didn’t read all 100 pages here; apologies if it’s been answered.

I called Bilstein and they recommend neither a spacer nor a
Staggered circlip setup to account for taco lean for 2ng gen 6112’s. All they said was the shock and coil have been engineered with this discrepancy in mind. Doesn’t seem to hold up logically. The 3rd gens can be staggered. Shock and coil are the same valving and size left and right in the kit.

Why do you all think they would make that recommendation, and what is the best opinion on leveling the lean for a 2nd gen? I have a bit over 1/2” in the front with a half full tank. About to install the 5160/6112 kit with an Icon 3 leaf.

If you want to add a spacer or whatever go ahead it’s your choice many people do so and haven’t had much problems. They tested it in their factory as is sold so why would they think they would agree with a spacer etc? The 3rd gen is staggered because they learned of the small from the 2nd gen 6112s is my guess.

Look through the thread and there is a chart that tells you what setting you need.

Hmm interesting. It sounds like many here are using a spacer to correct lean without issue, any chance the Bilstein rep was confusing the 2nd gen with the 3rd?

For those that have the 2nd gens, anything measureable between the front-left and front-right shocks that could validate the bilstein rep’s claim?

Installed with 6112/5160 a few days ago on the first notch with a 1/4 spacer from headstrong and I have the tiniest drivers side lean. As the truck settles over time I think it will dissipate

Right, I didn't think so and plan to order a 1/4" spacer with my set.

My question is more of whether the FR and FL 6112 shocks attempt to address lean in their construction. My understanding is that this is the case with stock TRD OR suspension.

I got my suspension installed last Friday! It took 8 hours total with help from a couple buddies and some breaks along the way.
Front: Bilstein 6112 & SPC light racing UCAs & 1/4" spacer driver side
Rear: Bilstein 5160 & OME medium Dakar leaf pack (plus carrier bearing drop kit)
    Tires: Falken wildpeak A/T3W 265/75R16
The leaf pack was supposed to give me +2" in the rear. It sat at +3" hub to fender right after install and now after a few drives and some testing, its at +2.5". I set the front at notch 4 which should have given me +1.5". It sat at +2" right after install and now is just shy of +1.5".
It feels great. The suspension absorbs uneven terrain better than I though it would, and the rear isn't as stiff as I feared it could be. I hope the rear settles a bit more, but besides that, I am happy with the results especially performance wise.
    Bilstein upgrade.jpg

All suspension listed above totaled $2118 with taxes and shipping. Install came out to a pack of beer and 2 pizzas.
    4 Tires mounted/balanced came out to $579 + $80 alignment.

I now have a Vibration issue after my suspension upgrade (the tires are aligned). There is a noticeable rhythmic vibration between 20-40mph. Its a pulse that you can slightly hear but definitely feel in your feet. Roughly 1 second long vibration, then 2 seconds off, then vibration again. This disappears with 4x4 engaged. I did a search on TW and a few people in a thread described the same issue, with someone saying it is the front diff bearing that may have gone bad and is now noticeable after the lift installed. The thread is very old and no one followed up on confirming if that was the root of their vibe issue. Does anyone here have any experience with an issue like this?
