    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

The outside diameter of this part of the All Pro extended nuts

Is larger than the inside diameter of this hole on the Spidertrax

It's not much... But the extended nut won't go down in. So, I'm thinking of increasing the inner diameter of the Spidertrax hole (by a skosh) to allow for the lug.

That sucks. So bora, AP, and TG both hub and lug centric spacers all allow an et lug. So spidertrax is the one odd ball. I may go out and check as I have a bag of AP et lugs sitting here.

Edit- i just pulled my wheel and you are correct the et lug wont fit.

I bought enough All Pro et lugs to do all (front and rear) of them. When they got delivered I went to test them out and they wouldn't go in.

If you want it done right, I think I would have a machine shop enlarge the holes as a standard drill press is going to have too much run out to precisely drill the hole.

Now the tapered seat is what actually centers the spacer over the stud. So in theory opening up the hole 1/16” should not affect enough of the tapered seat to create a problem. Which means doing it at home is likely not a real problem.

So I finished removing the U-joints, on the drivelines for the 4x swap. Now to clean them up and give them a coat of Por15.

I also might have found the reason they were giving me so much shit last night. I don't think the holes in the yokes are supposed to be egg shaped.
I may need to replace this one with the one I pull off the truck. Not sure if I can get the caps to press back in right. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Attempt #2 for a department. So hopefully I make this one. Back in May I went to the academy for Kern County Sheriff. Blew my knee out and couldn't continue. Gotta love old injuries from the army lol

So... The Spidertrax "Hub centric" spacers just became, basically "Lug centric" spacers.
I made a jig to keep things from getting too far out of control.
And for the record, to get the All Pro extended thread lug nuts to fit, you have to drill out the 1/2 hole to 5/8.

    So this happened today.....

    20190127_184649.jpg

Guy on craigslist built a loft a few weeks ago and then decided he didnt want it anymore. So he tore it out and I was able to snag all the lumber for FREE! Got bored and wanted to work on the trailer.....

    20190127_181719.jpg

Really easy to slide out of the camper when we get to camp. Easy to slide back into camper when we leave. Still need to finish up some little things on it. Make a mount for it to rest on when in position and then sand and paint or stain.

Just got back from Usal Beach and Grants Pass OR this weekend. Truck drives great and like butter off road. So nice, and the stance is good fully loaded. Thanks guys!
