Very true, he could pick up a smaller one thus reducing the weight and 3M automotive double back tape is very strong.
Some people have used tape to install Punisher or Captain America shield emblem onto the side of their vehicles.
Despite all of that I wouldn't tape one onto the truck.
I had two customers drill thru their FJ in order to attach devil horns, again I wouldn't do it.

Yea, I would go this route. At least here it is attached with hex head screws, and some Lock Tite would keep them from coming out. Of course then you need a locking receiver pin.

Right, I forget there is a smaller version. I like mine up front for the whole world to see!!!!!!!

Yea, I would not drill holes. But that would make sure they didn't disappear.

The post man knows me very well, he may have left the package with mom who lives not far from me.
I wouldn't sweat it, you're fully covered with Andre's super duper bro insurance policy.

Ahhhhh, that's very cool of you! Thank you!!!! :fistbump:

I think FedEx pays the first $100 for any shipment if so. Would just piss me off since I spent all the time on them :frusty:

    @Andres

Ok, I asked my wife, who does the shipping for us, and I didn't know but she added more bubble wrap to the white box and then put that in a FedEx (flexible) envelope. She always leaves the small details out. LOL

The problem with the curved emblem is that if you're planning on taking it using double back tape only a small area will make contact with your tailgate.
Perhaps if you used a tape that has some thickness to it it will adhere both surfaces.
    Does this make any sense?

It does make sense, I may not end up going this route.
    But I love the emblem!!

If you have a belt sander (Dremel may work too) and a steady hand you could curve the rear of the emblem to match the curvature of your tailgate.
Made out of aluminum you can remove unwanted material.
You can choose any size emblem.
