Do not buy from Toyota of Longview, Texas

Whatever you do, do not buy a new vehicle from Toyota of Longview (Longview, Texas). If you do, do not expect to get any kind of satisfactory customer service after the sale. I have a new Tacoma with a shudder/hesitation issue and they refuse to acknowledge it or fix or replace the vehicle. If anyone wants more details, feel free to drop me a PM.

I have, they cannot help me. I have gone to 2 other nearby dealers.

 

And what do they say?

 

They are saying I am stuck with it. Nevermind, the dealers Master Tech and the Toyota FST both acknowledged the truck has a shudder. The FST said he feels it but it is not an issue to Toyota is out of it. They dealer is riding the coat tails of Toyota's remarks.

I have submitted a case review to 2 different law firms to start legal proceedings. Waiting to hear back from them which will probably be Monday at the earliest. Hahaha, I am NOT going away and I am NOT giving this up until someone makes it right.

They were terrible to deal with back in 2017 when I was shopping for a new truck. I am not all surprised their after the sale attitude sucks.

 

The customer service side is even worse. It's sad when they won't stand behind the product they sell. They're all about kissing your b_tt until you sign the papers then is amazing how fast they forget who you are.

So, imagine my surprise when I received a phone call this morning from a Police Officer stating that he had received a call from the owner of Toyota of Longview who was reporting me for writing this negative review on social media. Customer Service at it's highest level ??? Hmmmm...

 

What was the officer investigating?

 

Since when can't people write negative reviews? Especially if they have some truth to them and aren't slander.

Sorry about your misfortune, OP. For what it’s worth, your review didn’t seem threatening or dangerous. Not sure what a police officer would have to say about it

Perhaps driving around the street in front of dealership with a sign in the back of the truck with some colorful comment about the local import dealer with a giant arrow.
