You shouldn't be running the tires at 80PSI, unless these are on a 3/4ton or 1ton truck. You will be okay with regular valve stems assuming your truck does not have TPMS.

You should run around 35 PSI. If you're up near 80, your truck will ride like fred flinstones car with stone wheels.

Fake news perpetrated by collusion of embossed-on-the-sidewall max pressure rating and a lawyer who looked at a tire once.

yea I didn't even think about it i'm sure I will never run 80 psi but the max load rating of the tire is at 80 psi and normal valve stems max rating it at 65 psi high pressure stems max out at 80 psi rating I had to look it up

Since the tires are capable of 80 PSI, I recommend installing the valves that match even if you don't plan to air up that high. They are usually the same price too.

I imagine they would have them readily available. If not, your local auto parts store should have them too

Are you running TPMS sensors in the wheels or standard rubber valve stems?

thank you discount tire for the help and info !! found the high pressure valve stems yesterday a shop in my local area that services a lot of off road equipment had them also $3 each. he wanted $120 to change out the tires and balance that seems like a lot for regular balancing.. called another Toyota dealer 40 miles away they wanted $112 for the same thing but with road force balancing. they also had no idea what high pressure valve stems were going to go there but bring my own valve stems this time .. thanks for the help

ok both of these Toyota dealers suck! 2 tires had acceptable road force and used about 3.5 ounces to balance. the other 2 tires had excessive road force and were calling for around 15 ounces of weight they did not know how to fix it so they static balanced the tires which used just under 4 ounces of weight per tire and said it was good. bump bump shacking at some speeds not that bad but not that good they said it might be the tires were on the bottom of the stack and got misshapen I waited about 4 hours the tires sat in the shop for over 2 hours before they got to them I will never go there again !!

This may come as a shocker, but that's why most people wouldn't recommend running a 10 ply tire on a Tacoma. Yes, I understand that it can be done, but that doesn't make it ideal because it can cause issues such as problems balancing, decreased fuel mileage etc. On top of that, adding more air into said tire just because that's what the sidewall says it can take under it's max load only exacerbates the problem.
Tire pressure is dictated by the weight of the load that they are carrying coupled with the volume of the tire. Just because you CAN put 80 psi in your tires, doesn't mean you should especially if those tires hold more air volume (ie are bigger) than stock.
