go check out the OVTune thread. May cost you a buck or more but it will fix the shit the mother ship won't. Comes in MT and AT. If that does not fix it burn it. You can flash back to stock if you need to so the dealer can tell you it is "normal" then flash back. It won't affect your warranty and it passes emissions - even in California.

It isn’t just fanboys. Most people are enthusiasts.

However, when someone with only a few posts on their profile opens a can of worms on a Friday afternoon, it looks suspicious.

Yea, asking for advice on how to improve the performance would have been smarter.

Okay... time for me to join in on a dumpster fire(my first).

Fanboy? Me? Hahaha, NOPE. If anything, maybe a Nissan fan....

Second, this topic has been covered ad nauseam....

3rd, sorry you got a bad deal, i went to the dealer last week. Bought my truck in july, has 5k. Was debating trade for another. Its worth MORE than I owe.

Was not a fan of the auto. But, it is finally shifting much better.

If your not happy, and have buyers remorse, find what you like, and move on.

Im sure you will LOVE the ecoboost... we had a fleet of them... and apparently, cant get rid of the remaining ones fast enough. Sucks, they were quick

All this Makes me wonder if Something is terribly wrong with My 3rd Gen 2018 - 6 speed manual transmission Truck! I got 22.8 Mpg on a short 27 mile run at 65 to 70 Mph, The acceleration was good OK yeah there was a Hill I had to down shift from 6th to 5th and Yet I still love my Turd Gen Tacoma for all it's short comings but I just feel so left out! I can't find anything to Complain about with the truck! Have not done the TSB to it and No I don't drive like a Grandpa.

I could post a pile of pic's of em but I'll behave and not start something that will get me a lot of "heat" but the only thing I can figure is the Truck "Learned" on Day one I drove a 325 miles Highway run from St. George Ut Car dealer to Outside of Salt lake City then home. it went from 14 mpg at start to 18 to 20 and now it stays pretty darn good. Here is a pic at about 4K miles then around 6k
