Every 7-9 days for me roughly. I was on 91 gas with the 91 tune, but it seems like this other station I used made the truck run slightly odd so I backed down to 87 tune with 89 or 91 gas. Not sure if the 91 gas has been sitting in the storage tanks longer?

Right? I could use that rear locker anyway. I’ve already gotten stuck twice in situations a locker would have easily gotten me out of :ballchain:

About 3 times a month if I don’t wheel too much. My Cummins used to cost me $130 per tank up here in NorCal, so the Taco is a nice change lol

SoCal Here. Currently budgeting $100 per week for gas just to be safe. Hoping for a 2-3 mpg gain with OVT. No unrealistic expectations, just fingers crossed.

I might flash the 91 then after all. I usually drive 5k miles a month. If I get 3 mpg better this mod pays for itself in 3 months. Then I will be happy as hell.

I'm running the 91 tune but we don't have 91 around here. So I run 93 and it costs me about .70 cents more per gallon or 14.00 more per tank.

That’s like $3500 a year extra for me dude. Totally not worth it.

If we had 91 it wouldn't be bad. There is a huge price difference between 87 and 93 where we live. 87 is less than 2 bucks a gallon.

I just priced 87 vs. 93 here in NW Ohio. $2.09 vs. $3.29 My last tank of 87 delivered me 20.1 MPG. Some quick math comparing miles per gallon to miles per dollar, and I would need to get 11.6 more miles per gallon on 93 just to break even on the cost difference

I like 1.05 91 tune. I tried 87 tune with 91 octane in the tank last weekend and for my truck it wasn’t as good as the 91 tune. My truck felt like it heavier off the line and the pedal wasn’t as responsive off the line. It did seem like mpg might have been better on the 87 tune but I didn’t give it much time and flashed back to 91. Running 285s and stock gears.

I switched from the 93 to the 91 tune. 93 was great on 265/75R16, but did not perform as well for me after switching to 255/85R16. We only have 87,89, and 93 octane fuel here which means 93 fuel on 91 tune. My only complaint is the drop in rpm when shifting from 2nd to 3rd under light acceleration. The Upshift occurs at/around 2,000 rpms and the rpms drop to about 1,600. The rpms immediately jump back to around 1,900 without a downshift. I can avoid this dance by pressing the skinny pedal a little further in order to accelerate which forces the upshift to occur later so it’s not really a big deal. Totally manageable until Mat opens up tune requests.
