it has just been busy at home and work. Oldest is moving out and it took some time and effort to find a place that I was comfortable with. Youngest is looking to stay in Buffalo so we have been dealing with an apt search up there also as well as what to do about a vehicle. I am still with the same company but my job has changed, I am now (according to them) supposed to perform miracles and save jobs that have been neglected to the point that the customer isn't paying their bills. The good thing about the new job is more money and better hours, I now work 6-2:30. Wife took on a new job to get benefits cause we are talking about divorce, nothing is final or definite but we haven't been a couple for years now.

Anyone watching the new season of The Grand tour Tour? So far after 3 episodes it's definitely the best yet. Episodes 2 & 3 make me want to go wheeling in Columbia

Sorry to hear that Billy. I hope whatever ends up happening in your situation is something that moves towards a better conclusion for everyone.

I made a dumb purchase today, but it checked a box that had been bugging me. When I changed the seats in the C5 I sold the stock ones for a decent amount of cash ($600) as they were in good shape. However, as time went by it always bugged me that I didn't keep them, just in case I ever wanted to go back to stock, or if I ever decide to sell. I found a set of replacements that didn't look half bad for $300 except they had busted electronics. I offered $150 and the person surprisingly accepted. I picked them up and he told me they were off a flood car, which would explain the busted electronics and the cheap price. They definitely need to be cleaned up but just connecting them showed me the front / back works on the driver's seat, so it's a good start.

Lets do it! We can start in Canada, then go through US into Central America and then end up in South America.

What's that waterfall in the movie Up? We can finish there! Plenty of driving and wheeling and camping!

I hear you there. I did the 12V kit to have something light around the house and honestly it will be good for around 90% of the stuff I do. I really bought the drill-driver set because I knew I wanted to get that stubby gun.

I already have a 18V Porter Cable drill but I might want to upgrade (maybe/maybe not) to the Milwaukee stuff because it seems so much better built. I already have a 18V 1/2" Milwaukee impact gun

I started switching to milwaukee about 10 years ago, with the m12 stuff. Then, started a year ir so later with the m18.
Professional, trade use. Have held up great. Have replaced 2 tools in that time, due to abuse, not too l failure. M12 first gen impact, fell from a cooling tower, bounced off what seemed every structural member, and finally hit a footing at the bottom. Still worked, housing was crackrd.. the other was a m12 driver, and it was the victim of an extended bath.
