Was just thing since you like lighting and so many people add extra backup lights on the stock rear bumper. I had an idea but think this might be better and easier. It would be a small pod that matches the size and shape of the trailer plug. It would be mounted on the other side with 2 lamps. For those who dont have a trailer plug the could mount 2. One one each side. They would be bolt on pods with something like 1/4 studs and a small hole for wires. I dont know. Might be dumb idea but just a thought :notsure:

Good idea, I’ll have to play around with that option and see what kind of light coverage I’ll get.
    Not sure? Prob few weeks

I believe that area is a little more limited than you think... @tonered has put a light in this area... thoughts?

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I'd be concerned with them been in the recess of the bumper that you might limit you light pattern to the sides.

I enjoy my single Rigid flushmout. A bit of glare, but clear turns and brakes are way more important.

There are pics earlier in this thread.

Well at that size and shape it could be used for all kinds of lighting. Under bed racks, canopies, put a cord on it for emergency truck work at night? :D lol

I thought of that too but figured the inside one would have enough angle for the passenger side and there should be plenty of room for the drivers side. And these just add to the stock lights. Just thinking it would even things out with the trailer plug and look almost stock. Meso will know if it will work. If not it's ok its just a thought.

We need something for people who run up on us or have their brights on in our rear views :D

Also in the Baja Designs flavor....

There definitely seems to be huge potential with these lights to be put in various positions

Interesting idea. Look forward to seeing this one. I won’t be able to join I. With this one as 1) I have additional backup lights already and 2) I used that area for OBA and OBA hookups. Look forward to seeing it tho

Hopefully the same here and upgrade to @mesojdm setup soon. Been running my puddle lights for the past 4 months. No issues and love how they light up the ground. Have them wired into @DSIM setup along with cabin floor lights that I installed in April 2017 to come on with the door and also have a switch to turn them off/on whenever the truck is running if I choose too.
