The sump in my basement is big enough for 2 pumps. We run 2 pumps. The main one is 3/4hp and the second is a battery backup unit.

Well don't feel bad I did not think of it my stepdad did , wasn't much he could not fix, build etc learned a lot from him . Interestingly my father respected him enough to stop by his wake if that tells you anything.

For Pete’s sake, I certainly hope they can get things figured out so that this doesn’t happen again.

I can only be proactive to the things I control and reactive to what I can't. In between I'll just restock my own beans and bullets. If it don't happen I'll just keep adding to my stores for another contingency. In 7 years it'll be one less thing I have to worry about. Just gotta roll with it till then.

I got a gift in the mail today. A gorgeous pen. Thank you to whoever sent it. Not sure the reason for the gift, but I love it and thank you very much.

Had to get dog food tonight. And too cold to grill or smoke so was going to use the Instant Pot to do a Roast I have after I got home. But needed a bottle of Coke to cook it. Ended up at the grocery store hungry, and I know better than to do that. But couldn't help myself. They had some T-Bones well Porterhouses actually. One thing my Costco doesn't carry. Think I already said I couldn't help myself...

Because Weber. At least 10 years now and never replaced anything on it not even the igniters. Although do have the grillgrates in it now.

    Always faithful helper

Twice baked potato with cheddar and bacon. Bacon and cheddar stuffed mushrooms. Crab and cheese stuffed pepper. Wrapped in bacon. Hmm bacon seems to be a common theme.

Cut the eye off for dinner. Ate the meat off the bone for dessert :anonymous:

It was worth it, all of it

Snow Sunday-Monday 6-8" and then getting cold. Not sure how much will be grilling in the next week. But am going to Costco tomorrow.

Burp. Oh that's right I have a capsteak thawing in the fridge right now...

Not being political. But I think they need to build a wall on the Canadian border. Need to keep the cold air out.
This was coming home from work.
