Oh, my oem pro grill showed up from my local dealer along with the garnish but i forgot to order the two push nuts or retainers for the garnish.

 

From a tw member that they didn’t work for

 

Fit was pretty good for a metal shop grill...dropped right in...looks super American

 

Let’s not lie here...your wife is super pissed at you because you keep disappearing at night to go sleep in your truck...the only thing that matters...lol..looks great

 

Only if you like a loud exhaust. I had the mbrp for about two weeks and removed it. Way too loud for my taste. Got the TRD instead and love it. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion. (MBRP for sale locally here on Houston if anyone is interested)

 

I'm trying to remember the thread, but this stuff pops off easy enough. I did break a tab, but 2 dots of hot glue later and it's secure.

Did themounting screws line up or did they have to be slightly coerced at an angle?

Does this new vent mount have full motion (open/close) of the vent now? I wanted to grab one for my center vent (right of radio) but was concerned about the mold reports. Living in fl and the humidity I constantly run the ac 80% of the yr

There site still has the old photos.. but the new product is shipped. I was told that in the email confermation. They just havnt updated the website yet

 

It has more range then the older mount but you still cant rotate the vent. But it for sure opens up more.... almost all the way. It CANT be closed all the way..

 

This is the best upgrade ive seen yet

 

just to clarify, once installed you can’t turn the vent but can you turn the vent to desired location before install? Let me grab a photo real quick…

So it’s angled to the center.

 

Correct. Twist vent to desired angle. Install. No more twist. Can still open flaps though.

I have the old version, live in FL, and it's just fine. I have it on my left most vent.



Started with the xwing style, but love the first picture better.
