I wish i was asleep, i hate the 4-greats watch. but sadly active duty doesnt get furloughed. and besides, gov opened back up for 3 wks today. im just happy i finally get my 15th paycheck now!

morning phil! just looking up install ideas for a CB in the truck. trying to find a way that doesnt interfer with a ham radio for when i get one of those as well. prepping for a TW camp trip first weekend of march as long as plans dont change.

i thought that, but i like have a junk place in my truck and so far thats it. haha. im thinking beneath pasenger seat, and then once i get a HAM, ill go under the driver sea with that. so many ideas out there though, luckily i have some time before i need to do anything.

I got a Relentless hood mount for my antenna, still haven't bought a CB yet


Someone sent me a mag mount antenna for my HAM too.

 

I.... might have locked my computer access for a few hours tonight.

whcih fog upgrade you go with again? and that mag mount looks nice. i think ill run the tailgate mount for the ham. esp since that way i dont have to worry bout rolling my cover up to use the antenna.

I bought the Rally Lights HL282H11 fog light harness(had to call and ask for it, they knew exactly what it was) and the Headlight Services universal headlight kit kit for Tacoma

The fogs were $83ish and headlights was $108ish

nice that sounds easy. i think im going to wait till after i do a few light bar adds, before i start with my road lights. my headlights are already good imo. esp the high beams (blind myself when they reflect off road signs).

 

so, not sure if same place you did yours, but i just found a thread for placing in in the center console, but in the back part. underneath the plastic. then run mic wire into the center tray part and such. thats not a bad set up.

I broke a wire in my fog light wiring, so I figured if I'm upgrading one....might as well get the other too

It always makes me wonder why people start doing those kinds of drugs. It never seems to end well.

 

awwww yes, now i remember reading about the that. havent you been waiting on that one company for like 2 wks?? thats insane. glad you found a new way to do it though. so i guess you wont be getting it fixed this weekend since you have to wait on parts?

 

I finally just called Rally Lights. They never did respond to my emails. They told me the fog harness will be built this week. The headlight harness from Headlight Services was in stock. I'm not in a huge rush. My fogs haven't worked for a while
