That's the only thing I run now. Just make sure you use a guard because I have had a couple break on me if my grinder gets snagged and bucks back, but who's to say that wouldn't happen with other discs.

Seems to happen more with them then Other brands. Although you cant beat the price I use the shit out of them.
Without a guard but defense is key. Wear your safety gear.

Yeah I always wear my ppe when working. Too many close calls for me not to. Was using a flap disc and it slipped and got my hand, tore through the glove and took a little skin off. Without the glove it woulda been a different story.

Oh I was planning on gluing a bunch of 4.5” harbor freight discs together to save money. Is that not recommended? :D

Leave the third in there, the fluid and all the metal in the 3rd will dissapate the heat. Everything in there probibly gets hotter on a road trip or wheeling than you welding a guard on there anyway. You run a higher risk of messing the diff up dropping it on the floor and inadvertantly contaminating the fluid than damageing it welding.

I snagged a bunch of these and their cutoff wheels on prime day a few years ago, I agree they are great!

Throwing these into the mix for recommended cut off wheels. I use a 6" metabo grinder for most of my cutting but these do come in other sizes. Cost is under 3.00 but I've only seen them sold in boxes of 25.

    I believe Metabo’shave a slipper clutch right?
I have a 5” Walter with a clutch that I only use for cutting. Such a nice safety feature. Saved me many times.

Welding gas is a game changer! Only been welding flux for a year now. Just messed around and tried different techniques. @la0d0g this is a 40 tank and IMO is the perfect size for me.
