Good morning. -10 when I woke up but up to -3 now. And snowing. Post Office doesn't open until 9:30 so waiting to run errands. Going to be fun driving around this morning on ice cement. Not.

That sounds like Florida in the winter. A lot of similarities. Was reading last night that Scottsdale is one of the best places to retire in the US. Clinic and hospital are there but not sure that is where I would land, people and traffic. Are several places to shoot clays near there some are famous. But every time I start researching seems the area around Huachuca City is a well kept secret that keeps drawing me to it. For a couple of months anyhow. Few years out yet to decide and who knows. Although as long as there is internet I can work from anywhere according to my managers. Maybe I should be looking harder right now...

He does, so does @gugman I have a pen Bob made me that is my favorite. It doesn't leave the house! Just used it to write a letter and label a box that I am shipping my new Sweet 16 in to go to Washington State to get a conversion to a Browning round knob grip.

My next door neighbor's parents live in Sierra Vista. He's a retired Army Warrant Officer (the dad). Next time they're down here I'll get their take on Huachuca City if you want their opinion.

Got the snow chores done, cleaned the crap off the garage floor, snow/ice sludge. Sunny out , vehicles out in the sun thawing. Uptown gas run, $2.30 a gallon. Truck, plus Jim’s gas reserve is low, ten plus gallons. I like to keep 25 gallons on hand.

I just came in from outdoor chores, filled bird feeders, picked up poop, checked on cats and took a walk out back. You can really feel that cold air in your lungs. I too need to pick up some more gas, it's $1.95 here.

If you don't mind I would greatly appreciate it! Actually Sierra Vista is where I have been researching. A guy on Upland Journal moved from Texas to there in his ancient RV. He started out in the Tuscan trap and skeet RV park but didn't fit in with the quarter to half million dollar RV crowd so started looking in the surrounding area. He is in Quail Run RV park in Sierra Vista and said I could rent an RV for $900 a month there. And that there are lots of other places all around there too.

He is out hunting mearns quail while I am looking at snow falling. I'm not a big quail hunter but a walk with the dog and shotgun is always a good thing, birds are optional. Especially when your not freezing.

I need to do the bird feeders too. Keep hoping a plow truck will come by before I leave the house but that is just wishful thinking. Still snowing and now windy it is blowing sideways. First thing I noticed this morning was breathing hurt my lungs. Didn't hurt my face so much as the lungs. Really having a hard time getting motivated to go anywhere so waiting on laundry to finish drying. That is pretty bad LOL.

I do know parts of that area are kinda touristy. That area has some real ghost towns that people like to visit, but that's more to the east. And there is a little bit of elevation just a touch east of those. You couldn't give me Tucson. It's the biggest city on that side of the state and doesn't look to be slowing down any plus I-10 goes right through it. But Sierra Vista is off that beaten path so shouldn't be as loud and crazy.

Yesterday I had to deal with this. “My car doesn’t run good. “
