For those coming to wing night tonight

Please double check the location on the calendar on post #1 (thanks again @Norilsk for setting that up)

It had been changed a while ago but in case you missed it. Please double check so you don’t end up at the wrong place. (If you do just blame @Joe23 —>he is the fall guy)

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
I used to use the oven, turned down almost as low as it would go - I think 110? But I have a dehydrator now that I bought from Canadian Tire, on sale - think it was $60... Works great.
I just buy roasts and par-freeze them and use a slicer that I bought from Princess Auto (on sale) for like $60. Slicer works amazing - I would highly recommend this one.
Try to get a roast with as little fat as you can - inside round or such. You can experiment with cutting with or against the grain.
Then 8 or so hours in the dehydrator, depending on what meat you're using and voila!

    That’s it!?!?

I have a slicer and a oven. Why have I been depriving myself of jerky.....

I’m guessing you can season as you like as well.

I can’t get over that. For the second gen they are $4-6.

Also that rubber is for the inner splash guards. You could use it for a fender liner but it’s kind of thick and possibly would be a pain to keep from sagging.

I am thinking @Joe23 and @Norilsk would be down. When are you in Milton next? Or are you coming to the wing night? I could pick them up for them.

I actually use lean ground beef, season it. Put the meat in a jerky gun - looks like a caulking gun - lay down a bunch of strips of it and in the dehydrator it goes.
Everyone I've given it too loves it, even people that don't normally like jerky.

Are they a template or a bigger cover and then we can just trace them?
