Probably going to be the very last time I clock in at Puck for a while; Tomorrow is the last day the venue is open, and I'm going there as a customer...

    :drunk:

Gonna keep my last clock-in and clock-out slips in my truck a souvenirs. The other one you see if my final clock-in slip from the patio, which closed on December 29th...

Dood! How else would people keep their Buik's running! Think about it, if you kept every Buik off the highway because parts were falling off... like a couple hundred thousand people would be stranded! How do you fix your Buik when parts fall off of yours on the freeway if you don't have access to the other parts laying on the freeway that fell off of other Buik's Lol! Hahahahaha

    Have a heart man!

Sorry, had to say it :)

LOL. Sounds like a waste of money to even set that up, to me. Warrants are not a store clerk's business. Nor are expired licenses. What are they gonna do?....give you a ticket?....arrest you for your warrant? "HEY!! Stop right there...you have a warrant out for your arrest."..."Yea right, that'll be the fuckin day...see ya clerk." :brianr::brianr::brianr:

All state inspections are just another form of tax the government pushes on you. Let’s be honest, all the stuff they test means nothing. Just another way for The Man keeping everyone down.

This is the reason they can afford to print a bunch of letters letting you know your late.
A bean counter is waiting for that check so they can reinvest it in garbage elaborate public events.

The same shit everyone else has.
I dunno. I’ve been to Ohio and I’ve seen some sketchy shit on their highways that clearly shouldn’t be on the road.

I don’t mind paying 70$ a year to know my truck will pass an inspection and it’s safe to drive.

If you’re vehicle fails, it’s probably for the best. I’d prefer to drive down the road knowing the wheel on the vehicle in front of me isn’t about to fall off because the wheel bearing and ball joint has been bad for a year and not repaired.

State inspection forces you to maintain your vehicle.

One of my buddies just caused a mechanic to loose his inspection license.
Took his 07 tacoma in for an inspection at the guys garage back in july and passed.
Took same truck to dealership in sept for frame inspection and failed miserably.
Dealership noticed the fresh inspection sticker and ratted out the mechanic.
    1 year suspension:evil:

It's not my buddies fault, This guy takes chances by selling stickers and lost.
Not sure I could sleep at night knowing a vehicle I put a sticker on could blow a tie rod and kill someone. The lawyers would be lining up to take my garage and everything else.

The reason that there are state inspections is that people, in general are assholes and infact, cheap assholes. Most people would continue to drive their rust buckets way past the point they were safe on the road. Annual inspections may be too much for a new car, but personally I have no issue with a once a year as it can prevent some jerk from hurting me

Inspections, registrations, drivers licenses are all a joke. Just another tax. As far as the government is concerned all they care about are taxes. Like seatbelt tickets, they don’t give a shit if you’re safe, they just want you alive so you can keep paying more taxes. Just keep your head down and pay your taxes people. It’s not like if I don’t renew my drivers license I forget how to drive magically. Any idiot can get a drivers license, just pay for it.

    I'll just add:
    Dreary, nasty Winter weather.
    PENNDOT!

I'm right on the border though, so I can drive on nice roads without paying Maryland tax rates.

But yeah, PA is a good state to live in.
Someone (a famous political operator who shall remain unnamed) once said:
Pennsylvania is Philly and Pittsburgh with Alabama in the middle.
Which is just how I like it. Down home.
Buck season is the time of year with greatest absenteeism in schools and workplaces.
Not many hipsters in these parts. :p

Registration, inspection, eh, it's not so bad. [shrugs]
And I'm not in an emissions test county. That would annoy me.
