@BostonBilly i’m sorry to hear about your situation at home. Same as Rob, if you want to get together and grab a frosty cold beverage, or go throw some lead down range sometime, I’m down.

Thanks guys but it isnt a sad day. This had been going on for a long time, we stayed for the girls and continue to stay for the girls. It just turns into a financial decision at this point once they are settled. The tough times were years ago, we are both past that now. That being said, I will always go for a beer and laughs

At work... Only had to come in for a couple hours and I brought the little one in with me. He's coloring all over the project plans so I'll have some 'splaining to do to the team come Monday morning. I'll just explain I was highlighting a set for something very important and hope they don't ask a lot of questions.
I would love to take a trip like that. Get one of those smaller off road pop up trailers and I'd be all set. That would be once in a lifetime!

Had to go visit the sister in laws new home. The we’re living in Manch Vegas, now just out side of it. Definitely a step up and they got a killer deal on a nice place.

Now brother in law is in search of truck to use for dump runs and plow. He showed me a 2006 Taco DC and a 2004 ford ranger. I hope I convinced him the Ford is not worth the 4K they are asking.

If that’s all the truck is going to do, i’d push him toward a 3/4 ton or an older half ton with a solid front axle. Even the Tacoma isn’t going to be a great plow vehicle.

I’ll mention it to him, I think he wants smaller truck with a manual trans.

Ah, that sort of limits his options. If he wants a small truck, the Tacoma will definitely be a better option but I’d be weary of the weak suspension and having the front end being a ball of rusty metal on the Tacoma if using it to plow. For a relatively dedicated plow truck, a short box, regular cab HD truck is tough to beat in my opinion. The solid front axle is easily serviced and tougher to handle the plow.
