I will check out 4x but I know relentless offers a below the bumper option. and I was thinking the same thing randy of getting the mount for the swing out welded on so I could bolt it on later when I get one.

If I didn't get a PB bumper, I was going to go with Brute Force Fab. Again, everyone has their preferences, but those were my choices. Luckily, the PB was a local sale picked up from a friend.

I was gonna go either brute force or 4x for mine until I got mine 25% off during joes Black Friday sale. After seeing a few brute force in person they’re a work of art. Billy has that thing perfected to a T. As far as 4x I just like how high it sits and how simple it is, yet effective.

I always knew Ugg boots would someday cause an accident. And here we are with Erik

One thing I’ll add is the reason joes bumper was lower on my list was because of the swingout. I didn’t like the idea of a wingnut holding it shut, but he’s since improved upon that a couple times. He’s on swingout version 3 now and it’s pretty freaking sweet. I like the molle panel on it and will be upgrading eventually.

I hadn't thought about that myself. I am a pretty big guy and would likely have the same issue...glad I haven't blind ordered one yet! Would be a real bummer to get wet everytime I wanted to use it! Would completely eliminate early spring and late fall fishing, which is when the bite is best around here.

Maybe we'll get lucky and some competition will bring Hobies's prices down a bit.

This would be my dream yak!

I have a friend that reloads ammunition in his furnace room. Stores all his smokeless black powder in there too!

A few more pictures lol did manage to sing the tailgate a bit and bend the pin hinge bracket. And the corner where it mounts into the body is bent inwards a little bit but should be able to straighten. Frame is fine. Pulled the fender back out and it does have a wrinkle in it.

Bro we need a better story than “my ugg boot got stuck on the gas peddle & I rammed into a parked truck”

How bout “yeah a kitten was in trouble so being the superhero that I am I rammed the rear end of my truck into a tree to save the kittens life. I am a badass like that you know. Plus I am Canadian so it counts x 2”
