    I think it has some slight rust. The good thing about Fiskars, is that they have a lifetime warranty. Im not sure if they will will warranty for rust though.

    Wouldn't the leather be affected by weather?

    Good point. Maybe a bit. But then again it's leather... I treat mine with conditioner for my a Redwing boots.
