Hi, been awhile since I stopped by the TW NM thread. Hope you dont mind me askin for a recommendation.

I am looking for a good alignment shop in the ABQ area. I just installed a Dobinsons/Dirt king lift on my 5th gen T4R and need to get an alignment this week. From what I read most shops do a decent job on stock vehicles but it takes an "experienced tech" to dial in a lifted truck.

Ive used Chets in the past and they did a great job on my stockish 4Runner but my 5th gen has a bit more lift. Before I run over to Chets I'd like to get a few recommendations on what shops you guys are using.

I’m interested in this as well. I’ll be needing an alignment soon, but in Los Lunas I’m limited to Craig Tire or Big O tires. I’ve had good experiences with Big O in the past but it seems like they’ve changed some things there recently. They wouldn’t assemble a set of springs/struts recently for me since I didn’t buy them there

I also don’t know how it would be driving to ABQ for an alignment with newly replaced LCAs and tie rod ends.

    I have too many Toyotas...
Everything... and a bag of Cheetos.
I have been going to Albuquerque Tire on Menaul for my alignments for 15+ years. I have had every alignment on all my vehicles done by the same tech the entire time. His name is Mark and I have never brought him something he couldn't align. He is more than willing to work on aftermarket setups and didn't skip a beat on my SPC arms, or anything else for that matter. He takes his time and will make adjustments until you're happy... if you want a specific setup (ie more caster, compensation for road crown, etc.), he will make it happen to the extent that your setup allows.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Ask for Adam when you call, he's the owner's son and a Toyota guy himself. Tell him Nick with the 4Runner sent you and have him set you up with Mark.

Nick thank you very much! This is exactly the recememmendation I was looking for. I’ll be calling Adam Monday and setting up an appt with Mark.

Now just have to hope my Dirt Kings will allow for 3.5deg castor.

How do you wave? Entire hand, single finger, or ? Some of these windows are so damn dark that you can't even see if they're on the phone! I think I've seen your truck around town. Sometimes when I wave at another Tacoma driver, they look at me like I have lobsters crawling out my nose.

Holy moly! The first thing I thought was what is it like to lift the tailgate back up? The second thought was are they in Talbots?

Well I think I tend to do both depends more if I think I know them or not haha. That’s a possibility! I’m usually downtown or uptown or Nob Hill.

Haha that’s what I thought too but the jewelry place is right next door so idk??

Anyone been to a local FexEx shipping office lately? Last few times I've gone in with something already packed up and labeled. They keep trying to sell me new boxes. They won't even send them out. So I took them to the FedEx by Costco on Renaissance (where they don't have boxes to sell) and they take them no problem. Is this what FedEx is now?...A box company more than a shipping company?
