we stuffed brochures one year because I think she went to part time. she used to go to work and cut me loose on the mountain all day at age 8. She knew all the lifties and ski patrol knew me and would look out for me.

 

When was she working/you skiing there? My time was 81-85 roughly. My mom would drop me off at the bottom of the hill to hitchhike up until I got my first car.

I used to know most of the ski patrol and most of the lift ops too. Wasn't that big of a place back then

 

Can anyone recommend a decent cheapish OWB kydex holster for a glock with a olight pl mini?

 

pretty much the exact same years. We moved away around 86. So you remember the old lodge then.

 

The only lodge I ever knew Tiny little shop next to it that would sell us beers (Lowenbrau!) and we'd go sit up at the top of JR and drink them there.

Haven't seen the new one. I'll check out their website to see where it is and how it looks. I imagine it's way different up there these days!

I'm currently looking at tactical belts to hold OWB holster and rifle and handgun mags. I'm a John Wick LARPer going to a John Wick LARP event soon.

 

Funny enough, the answer is still probably Safariland......

 

I had a big written out rant to post, but it was probably too long to read for most and would stop or loose interest after the first sentence. I'll hold my breath for another time.

Wouldn't be the first time. I worked for the summit, and went through the small family ownership to a Vermont based ownership, followed by a REIT that owned many Colorado, east coast and nor cal ski areas.

People get excited when big companies like that buy, but it doesn't mean shit except for higher ticket prices and longer wait times along with ski runs worn out by 9:30am. In the last 10yrs I've seen only 4 new chairs at Snoqualmie and of those 4, 3 where upgrades that consisted of swapping out old doubles for old tripples, where the tripples got swapped out for high speed quads. Basically them trying to increase up hill carrying capacity but not adding more skiable acreage. End result; nuts to butts lift lines and the hill is skied out by the time you make your next ride up the chair.

 

Shit I thought I was old here...

Safariland sets the standard for owb holsters especially if you want retention. ALS is King of the Hill but you pay to play.

Look at https://rcsgear.com I use their iwb stuff, it's great quality which I imagine continues to their owb gear.

 

Sadly, they dont make anything that fits my light

 

That only means it's time to switch to surefire
