    According to icon it is a clearance issue. They will not warranty that shock because you didn’t follow their instructions.

    Should say in the instructions. If there is no sign of wear then try and warranty them. No proof that rubbing Is the cause.

    You could try the warranty route but your leaking exactly where they said it can if you don’t notch. It will pretty hard to prove your case and I would bet icon will say your on your own. Sell em and get some fox or Kings on there.

    OP just have them rebuilt and throw them back on, you’ll be fine. I use 303 shock service - you can contact Tim @TMFF he’s awesome.
