Yep. I'll look into a rebuild. I have a tundra to drive in the down time.

I'm not putting this failure on Icon, although I still stick to their being no contact..

If a rebuild is too pricey, then I'll likely replace with fox or king.

At the moment Im just sitting back watching the drama unfold in the icon vs king vs fox debate.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Racecar parts have race car part side effects. I think a lot of the simple bolt on folks around here don't understand that these are performance parts. They have been sort of tweaked to work with your vehicle but at their heart they're the same product sold to race teams where if you can believe it they're told to make it fit themselves. If you can't take the increased maintenance perhaps something a bit more off the shelf is a better fit. Racing shocks are a candle that burns twice as bright, I'll let you guess what that means about their longevity.

Well....I found a local TW member who has the ability to recharge this shock. Soooo..looks like I'll pull it tomorrow and work on getting the fitting replaced and then give it a recharge. Although I just looked into those ADS and ...

    Solution yes...thread...no.

But in all fairness, I've been around TW long enough to know that any time someone posts an equipment failure thread a shit show will follow. My widget is better, should have bought the other widget, my girlfriends boyfriend had nine widgets fail, my favorite shock color is blue and so on...

And there also the rare chance of any thread being turned into a post a pic of your dog thread....
