Now this one might work. Also, thanks for so many other excellent commenters on here. It looks like I have some homework to do for sure. I’d quote all the others but that’d be one heck of a multi quote! Thanks to all!

The 9 might be too much for her in such a compact size but that LCP380 looks really nice too. Thank you for pointing me in this direction!

Yes, we have a Shield and love it but it’s a bit big for her and I’m thinking we need to go as small as we can while still getting something that’ll stop someone. Luckily ammo has come a long ways these days and that helps.

I wasn’t familiar with this one but that’s a cool little gun for sure. Thanks!

I always felt 380 was harder to control and have follow up shots than 9s

I'd have her shoot a few 380s before settling on one

Thanks, will do for sure. Honestly, the only small handgun I ever owned was an old Beretta 25 cal. I’ve got more long guns than I know what to do with but don’t for a second claim to be an authority on handguns. I’ve got to get up to speed and find something that she could pop off a couple of times if she had to and actually stop someone.

    That’s fair.

the 9mm version of that sig 238 is the 938 if I’m not mistaken.

I’ve never owned a 380 and I think the only one I’ve shot was a cheap Bersa. Seemed anticlimactic lol

I really like the idea of 327. With modern bullet technologies I think it could be on par with 9mm or .38sp pretty easily, but I haven't seen any gel tests to show it yet.

They're neat packages for sure. I think I'd rather go custom or semicustom for the money though.
