Also go online and file a complaint against michaels and Toyota wit the attorney general. They will send lots of letters. Might help.

 

The idiots there couldn't even perform the leaf spring recall claiming my truck is too modified, when their damn aftermarket accessories dept sells fucking OME dakars, which I have installed.

I thought it was pretty self explanatory.. "does the vehicle have the recalled leaf springs installed?"

The wheel is just starting to squeak. I'll see how long it takes to get grease.

All they seem to be able to accomplish is inspecting the floor mats. I hate them so much right now.

 

Anything to get out of warranty work. All the dealers suck.

 

Dealers do mostly suck. I took my rig in for an oil change the other day. They recommended that I replace my air filter that no joke I replaced myself 2 weeks before. But they didn’t note my axle spewing grease all over in my multi point inspection

 

Toyota of Puyallup refused to do my idler pulley because it wasn’t loud enough. Anything to get out of warranty work. But they were happy to sell me the part so I could do it myself.

 

This is similar to what happened to me at Toyota in Lake City.
So I just refinished my frame.

I would make the tech walk through it while I contradict his unintelligent answers. But thats probably why they dont allow that anymore. That and Violence against idiocracy.

 

I was on the side lines. It only took 2hrs for them to actually bring it into the bay. I was there at 10:00 for a 10:15 appt. Around noon they finally got it on the rack. 15min later it was back in the pickup bay. They took almost 3hrs to complete a 30min process. This is why people like me hate dealerships.

My theory is the techs get a bonus based on how much warranty and recall work they deny based on the presence of aftermarket parts on trucks they wish they owned.. But I'm not bitter.

 

I'm picking up what youre putting down. I'm bitter. That fits my position in this situation.

 

Had a 4 hour oil change there. Worst service dept in th world.

You know Clint’s friend Greer? Doesn’t her husband work as a tech at Toyota? Might be worth your time to give your cousin in law a call and see what Greer’s husband says

 

Best case scenario, TOK gives the approval for frame replacement. Then I'm free to flame away and talk shit about Michaels. As of now, it's only an assumption about their dislike to do warranty work. But the shoe sure fits. My second frame inspection through them and it returns denied. Seems like a pattern to me.

 

It doesn't mean you're wrong. At this point I won't even go back for my toyota care "free" oil changes. Hell, the diesel Colorado is looking nicer and nicer. Their service department probably sucks too though.

 

I know a guy or two internally, and I've been advised of the service dept gm, along with the Michael's gm, but I'm holding those cards. Since corporate can't help me, I may have to reach out to Erik Paulson the dealer GM, or Brian Coward the service dept manager. Pending the second opinion from TOK, I'll extend my dissatisfaction to them personally. I'm not quite holding a full house but have options when the river is turned.
