Well...it kind of was. I read through most of this thread then the polling thread and last night. I was about to go to bed then opened the laptop and ordered. I have to build myself up for ordering stuff over a couple hundred bucks. But I did make some extra bucks doing some contract work...

Thank you, sir. I’ve had my Jeep YJ for 18 years from stock to...something far from stock. I learned from that to not skimp on decent mods. I also put the Bilsteins up front and need to figure out something for the rear...maybe progressive AAL’s.

    So yes...it has begun.

I would recommend OME leaf pack over the aal. EL095R paired with 60091 sport shocks.

And if you want to have better vision than the stock seats provide (sitting in a whole view) try the aluminum seat spacer for the seat mod by Olecoot. Check the 3rd gen buy/sell/trade thread. They made a huge difference on comfort and vision over the hood. Cheap and worth every penny.

I’ll definitely check it out. I’m not a tall man by any stretch of my imagination. I was up in the air about new springs and I know AAL’s are just makeup for what you want it to look like, haha.

I actually don’t have any debt aside from $3k for a 2007 Ducati 1000 I financed (bad decision lol, it’s for sale right now).

I refuse to enter student loan debt, luckily my school is only $5k a year (it’s for ministry/missionary work). I’m thinking of doing a trade school too, either welding or an ASE certification.

So...after Matt helped with my reading comprehension, I installed 1.05 in my 2018 DCSB OR auto. It's been a little over a couple of weeks now and drivability has vastly improved. It'll hold 5th now instead of the constant 4-5-6 gear shuffle into slight headwinds and up slight inclines. No more holding 4th looonnggg after the crest of a hill. The throttle actually feels like a throttle instead of a dead pedal "on/off" switch. Gas mileage hasn't suffered, I'm still seeing 21/22 mpg driven softly and around 17+ on the Instate at legal and above.
    Thanks Matt.

My 2016 TRD OR came back quoted trade in at 27k for a 2019 MT. $7,300 difference lol

Looks like I’m keeping the AT. I’m not that upset...my truck is pretty sweet

I found a used TRD OR MT for $28k in the Bay Area... if my truck sells privately for 26-27k soon then I’ll be back in the MT club

Yah my truck has 41k miles. If I sold private I could get more, but I’m honestly good with it I’ll just regear down the road. I did call the guy at Discount tire and he’s switching out all my Hankooks back to the Falken AT3s for a nominal fee so I’m good with that

    Right?

I thought I was crazy when I said the same thing because they’re the cheapest tires I’ve ever bought....

Exactly. When I got mine I figured if they suck im not out much.

Today I’ve got 45,000 miles on mine and they’ve still got tread left.

They’ve far exceeded every expectation I had all around. Best part is they are good in all conditions on and off road and don’t wreck my fuel economy

Indeed it’s weird how cheaply are. Had the 6-plies in 265/76/16, now doing the 4-ply 265/70/17...getting rid of these 255/75/17...not a bad tire, just not the same. The tune likes the half size smaller with rpms matching better
