Uni-balls exposed are cooler than SPCs, just keep em lubed or they make noise.

That’s the plan. Also go my grease gun to keep my bushing lubed up

I think you're limited to certain backspace with the JBAs, not so much with the SPCs.

I also didnt want bright red.

I got my SPCs on Amazon Prime with free shipping for $470. Not sure if that's also applicable to HI.

Regarding the Amazon ad, it shows the old style SPC but I received the newer style.20190101_102039.jpg

Like me... stock uca w/887s on 5100’s. Wish I went with 888s since I wanted the truck to be level. (Icon AAL + OL spring) I’d also like more caster, but I like having that extra $550 in my pocket a little more right now

...but you should buy UCAs the first time if you can afford it.

If I don’t trade this truck for an MT TRDOR, I’m getting spc UCA’s and 1/4” spacers for the front.

Finally put the lift on. Went with 888 coils up front on my 5100s and HD Dakars and added a 3* shim. Had to stack almost 3/4" worth of washers on my carrier bearing but pretty much got rid of all driveline vibes. Still waiting for the leaf pack to settle completely and then will make any necessary adjustments to the carrier bearing as needed.
Also removed the sway bar. The ride is amazing. I'm still running my normal length 5100s in the rear but am leaning towards grabbing some 5160s. Relatively cheap and will be looking into upgrading shocks front and back in a few years, pending the ride quality over the next few years.
Anyone have thoughts on the 5160/5100 combo? I've seen some other threads but would like to know anyone who went from 5100s to 5160s in the rear.

Bottom notch. The lift was with the 888 coils.
I think it was a little over 2.5" lift in the front and 3" in the back
