With my 6spd, having a 2WD low would be convenient. Backing up the trailer can be a challenge. I swear the thing could go 30mph in reverse without touching the skinny pedal.

Of course, I have too many hobbies and projects. We'll see what happens. Currently the sailboat is getting my attention.

:pccoffee: Good morning. -12 got an inch of nuisance white shit. Leaving it. 8-10 is the punishment today starts at 3PM goes until 3PM tomorrow. Then it gets real cold. Make another shopping run this morning and try to beat the herds, also need gas and propane for the grill. Just in case.

They still aren't dropping salt on the roads and with it below zero that is OK will not work anyhow. The ice cement is starting to build up on the roads driving isn't fun unless you like going sideways at random intervals. More coffee before the oh shit drive into town.

My FJ55 1st gear was like that it was a true granny gear. It was nice and had its place more than once.

Good morning, all. Looks like I have a little water issue myself. Meter is slowly creeping, about 4-5 g/hr. No leaks I can find under the house, but my 8yo water heater, with 6yr warranty, has some corrosion at the bottom and is damp inside. Oh joy. I don't think that is the whole issue, though. Not wet enough.

Time to call a plumber friend...

Is it in a basement where you can’t see leak going to a sump pump?

No, it's under the flippin house behind ductwork. Idiots! I killed the breaker and took off the covers, and water ran off of them. No sign of leaks around elements or stat. Corroded screws around bottom of unit. They don't sweat like that, do they?

Another thing is we have noticably higher pressure in the house as of recent. Maybe a regulator?
