I’m about to have 8 wheels and 4 tires in the garage lol. New wheels on the way for the runner, picking up @Dave41079 ‘s old wheels from @tacotim448 tomorrow, and then hopefully snagging some used 33’s somewhere so I have a spare for the runner, 2 for the trailer, and a spare for the trailer.

 

You can run your spare for the 4Runner as the spare for the trailer too to save on weight. That’s what I’m doing. It’s not like your going to running down the Dempster hwy anytime soon to need that many spares but just a idea.

Haha no I don’t but I got a Tacoma and I’m on Tacomaworld..... Can you not use the same spare on the 4Runner as on the trailer? I would like to see the weight comparison between the two.

 

I can, but if I’m buying a set of 4 wheels, and a set of 4 tires then why not have both?

 

Long shot but...

Any of you have some 17” wheels laying around with 3.5-4” backspace

 

I’ll have some factory 17” 4runner trd off-road wheels laying around in about a week or two. Idk what the backspacing is though.

 

BS on a factory wheel would be way too high for my application. Thanks though.

 

I think all the 4R wheels are all pretty close to 4.5 backspace.

Well, my 16s work just fine, but there are so many more options in 17. Just feeling the waters.

 

That there are...it was painful to the bank account when I had to jump from 15" to 17" because there just weren't many 37" and 40" options in 15" wheels any more.
