You know you need to have some slack in the hose to compensate for the amount of movement all over the place that leaf springs make. Hoses that get pulled on will leak right out the swivel nut end like that and it doesn't take much. Just a thought for when u put em back on...scoot the resi a lil closer to give some slack on the hose. Just somthin to think about

Glad you have a direction to go in.

Funny how threads quickly devolve in this forum. Seems to happen with regularity in the 3rd gen subform...

Looks like a NPT hydraulic fitting why not just adjust the base jam nut, the hose crimp wouldn't be so close to the shock tower. The failure happened at that connection

Just replace the hose, its standard hydraulic hose.

I think it’s ridiculous you have to modify the truck to run a “OEM replacement” shock when so many other manufacturers run the proper fitting to clear. But I also think it’s ridiculous to run resi’s on a street truck :notsure:. Icon seems to one of the least customer service oriented manufacturers that I’ve seen on these forums. But my experience is limited to that. Also dropping a lazy dog pic for the thread.

Hmmmm... are the resi's needed? Probably not. But this is far from a street truck. I bet I have 15 to 20 thousand dirt road miles.
