    Ok reason a asked a bought a truck with a 3.4, headgaskets done a year b4. Come summer winter, no heat go to put in new thermostat, no existent thermostat.after I put a new on in it will run in the shop all day at idle, as soon as you go for a drive it pegs the gauge HOT. After much research found head gaskets were on the wrong side.

    I'm thinking there is more going on than I want to fix. The radiator he gave me doesn't look close to what is in it. Also I pulled the radiator cap and started the motor and it wasnt exactly flowing just pulsing. It was just going up and down.
