I surely Wasn’t singling you out, that’s awesome. Majority of people won’t need resi’s, like ever... but hey I’m all for it. You work for your money so spend how you want. If I had more money to spend I’d probably do the same thing. I Still think it’s lame they won’t update the fittings to prevent this, guess all the repairs are an extra source of income to them.

    Lots of sail boat fuel
For deep woods dirt road pounders , they make a big difference. Shock fade is never an issue until the corrugated road takes you off the road and into a tree.

    Very happy I got mine.

First off, i’d say you’ve gotta figure out exactly where the leak is coming from. Since you already have pics for proof, clean off the oil and try and make it leak again so you can pin point it.
Like others have already stated: If it’s a hose leak from rubbing on an un-notched frame bucket, you’re SOL with a warranty claim......but it doesn’t look like that.
I’ve fixed and built a lot of hydraulic hoses over the years and after looking at the two pics you’ve posted, i’d say it could be a few things that should all be covered under ICON warranty: Improperly tightened hose nut from the factory?.....Chunk of dirt on the flare seat when they assembled the hose and shock?......Faulty/cracked fitting or hose?.......Improperly crimped hose?.........
Good luck and hopefully it’s covered by ICON....

I'm with you here. Looks like a hose fitting failure or loose connection.

Damn, Icons get shit on in every thread I read. I'm enjoying mine, but every time I come on TW I feel like I made a mistake. Also, the instructions are very explicit in why the notch needs to be made in the shock mount, which is a minor modification IMO. I kind of get the "it's supposed to be bolt-on" schtick, but I also don't get how someone is willing to throw $3000+ on lift kit, and then whine about having to trim a miniscule amount of metal. You're gutting a major factory component, leave it stock if you don't want to deal with the possible issues of modifications, especially if you don't even bother to follow the manufacturers instructions.

Mine leaked from the same place. Shop didn't notch and I was unaware it needed to be. But when they worked they were amazing.
