Lol, yeah sound cloud is where everyone goes to try and make something out of themselves since they don't want to fully commit to college and think they have skills. Don't get me wrong there's some decent shit on there. Yeah as I was writing everything about him, I was trying to word it to not make him seem bad but its pretty rough.

TAV does awesome work and I love the builds that they produce for their customers. That being said I’m all for not doing stuff myself especially things as complicated as a front locker or regearing. Their is a beauty to being able to take care of your own rig though. Not hating on anyone who has that kind of money to dump all at once more so just jealous I can’t do the same thing right away! :D I’m just conveying there is a beauty to the slow builds just as much as these one stop shop builds that I see more often everyday. Glad your happy with the job so far OP looks like it will turn out to be an awesome build!

It's a 6x4, not a 6x6. Pause the video right at 1:42 and you'll see that the rearmost axle isn't powered, it's just a tag along.

It may have just been missing the driveshaft. Maybe they couldn’t have it done for reveal day. A real Hennessy built velociraptor is a true 6x6, and all wheels can have power.

These are rather funny. Can't say I have to many friends (that I trust) to casually do lockers for me.

Cost wise ? +$2500 for shocks and +$1100 for rubber alone , + the cost of rims, that's $5g right there. Then the buckets and labor for welding the buckets ....and everything else.

The price really isn't that far fetched. Kind of rude to be sitting behind a keyboard and commenting on someone's finances btw IMO.

OP, looks like you'll have a real radio truck that you'll have lots of fun with . congrats and good luck with the build

You know how it is when it comes to money. Everyone thinks people have all the time in the world to do everything and that they know whats better financially wise for everyone. Tisk, tisk.....

I’m betting the cost doesn’t include the extras he’s adding on, like wheels and tires. It most likely is just the cost of the suspension plus labor. The total chaos kit is like 3500 before tax and then add the shocks and additional parts for the rear long travel and I don’t think that 10k is all that bad.

Not sure about labor but they quoted me ~4K in parts for front and rear lockers if I shipped them out. Now I would get a core charge back but still a lot of money.
