If you are in warranty wash under the hood with simple green and hose it down. Let it dry good then take it in to the dealer and say nothing but I have a noise.

You don't think they'd somehow be able to tell I sprayed the dressing on? They seem to be detectives in finding things to put the blame on lol

If you clean it off with alcohol they shouldn't notice.

If the belt grooves are clean and free of any debris after checking (with engine stopped lol!) with the belt loose, I would check the belt idler pulleys for any sign or roughness and replace.
You may very well need a belt and the noise might go away for a while, but with a bad Idler pulley it will be back if not replaced.
The pulleys are cheap enough at a quality parts store such as NAPA, but it maybe covered under warranty.

BBQ brush....lol.....great idea. I’ve used a tooth-brush-sized wire brush taped to a long screwdriver and sandpaper wrapped around pliers to de-glaze belts and pulleys on running engines before....totally sketchy but it works..........
A finger full of silicone lube applied to both sides of the belt works for squeaks sometimes too (with the engine off, obviously)
If it continues, remove or loosen the belt and check all the pulleys for play/noise.

    Update-
Took it to the dealer, just told them about the noise, said nothing of my belt dressing fix attempt. They gave me a loaner Tacoma and had the truck for 2 full days. They claim there was excessive play and worn bearings on both idler pulleys which ruined the belt. So they replaced both pulleys and the belt and presto. All covered under warranty. I have a nagging feeling though that the pulleys were fine because when I suggested they attempt to replace just the belt and see if that fixed it so i could have my truck back sooner the service advisor I was talking too said they do not replace belts under warranty unless they can show something else caused it to defect because they're considered maintenance items, so Im thinking they fudged some reason for the belt to go bad so that they could do it under warranty which is nice. The night before I took it to Toyota i used a little squirt bottle and squirted some water directly onto the belt and the squeal would instantly stop the minute the water touched the belt. Also i tugged at the belt and felt no play or movement at all it felt nice and tight. The belt itself felt tacky though almost sticky which I assumed was from my belt dressing. They said that the bad idler pulley bearings generated heat and basically melted the belt because they even commented on the "residue" aswell without me saying anything about it or the belt dressing.
Idk who knows. All covered under warranty and now lesson learned!
