    Well rounding up wild horses by helicopter had to end badly. :crazy:

    I thought they still used people on ATVs and horseback to do that, when did they take a page from Alaska?

    Technically, these feral horses are an invasive species originating from Spain, arriving to the Americas via Mexico. They took the native american dogs job as primary pack animal...

    As a federally protected species it is illegal to take, kill, harass, trap, destroy habitat, etc the horses so yeah its an interesting question. Especially when, as mentioned, its an invasive that we are choosing to protect.

    Been a year since I took envi-law and envi-policy but legally its a possibility that someone would get nailed, however since its the inforcing agency that is responsible its not likely. Instead rights groups will sue them to change their future actions and review existing policies.

    More or less what you would expect.
