One if my climate control bulbs burned out. I didn’t want to spend $15 on an OEM bulb so I found these bulbs. The physical size description was almost exactly the same as the OEM bulb so I ordered. Amazon showed that they “fit my 2011 Tacoma”. Less than 5 days on standard order and they went in nice and snug and work to my liking. Not obnoxious bright like I thought they might be. D76B0F75-161C-451F-B45E-51DFE321E10B.jpg

Admittedly, I've been upgrading my truck's lighting so I was curious about how the LED's compared. Glad it works out!

I had a single bulb burned out and was in the same situation. A lot of previous posts on the HVAC bulb had dead links or the stores were out of stock, but I found the HVAC bulb (KT928) in stock (as of 01/07/2019) from http://www.candlepowerinc.com/. It's half the price after shipping compared to the stealership and works great so far.

I replaced the overhead bulbs with LED’s and they’re SUPER bright white. These little minus don’t look any different than the incandescent bulbs. I put the bad one in and I saw no difference at all. I did switch the other working bulb out then so they’re both LED

I haven’t checked. I’m just replacing bulbs as I need them. I’m not voluntarily popping dash parts until I need to. I think I saw a bulb chart on these forums somewhere where you could see if they use same bulbs though

Pretty sure I used a T3 LED for the control buttons on the left side of the dash. So no, those won’t work. I did get the T3 bulbs through Amazon though.

Toyota part number for fog light etc. switch bulb is 90011-01058 which gets you 2 bulbs. They are considerably smaller than the HVAC bulbs.

Edit: These bulbs have the amber covers on them which is correct for my truck.
