Lol, anywhere visible works, no specific area. I just don’t like stickers on a tailgate and it will not be visible on my rear window.

Yeah, I have a few things planned but at this point I honestly haven’t even gotten out to trail the truck so I’ll probably push all the stuff back until I’m at a point where I have time to build it, use it, and pay for everything that comes with doing that.

How much weight do you guys put in the back of your trucks in weather like this? And should I put it more to one side to offset the full gas tank

None. Empty bed with full tank of gas usually does the trick for me.

Should say that I also have winter tires on

That’s another good thing. Wheel the truck, built it for what you need and plan to do with it

Two ways to look at a career. You can either work in something you love, or have a job that finances your love.

Here is some info on how to build your own

    http://www.fourwheeler.com/features...arctic-trucksbuilt-2017-toyota-tacoma-on-44s/

I personally am not a fan of using stock lowers and just building off of them. With a long travel kit good things can happen.

^They are using a Land Cruiser LCA, as evidenced by the sway bar link clevis hanging in the front (for KDSS-style sway bars), a "natural" choice because they are also using the Land Cruiser steering rack, spindle, and wheel hubs (note the 5-lug pattern). Being in Iceland, aftermarket LT kits, boxed control arms, and GM one-ton axles are hard to source, so Arctic Trucks just use Land Cruiser parts and fabricate everything else themselves. Being in Canada, we can do better given the same amount of money. :)
Just a 60 lb tonneau (and really just to avoid shoveling snow from the bed, not for its weight). Weight in the back is mostly for RWD vehicles. Just flip the switch to 4Hi if you see snow or slush on the road.

None for me. I have a bedslide so there's a little weight to begin with. I feel there's good traction as is.

I believe that most of the trucks are manufactured in UK and then shipped over, but it would make sense that they use parts that are readily available in their destination countries.

I was in the UK over the summer visiting family and the trucks out there are all small. The Hilux is the best thing going out there from what I saw. Had a layover in Iceland both ways and it’s a gorgeous country that I would love to explore more one day.

Is it easily to fix the alignment on the steering wheel? I had an alignment done and the steering was at a 45 degree angle after so I took it back and now it’s like 10 degrees and still annoys me holding the wheel on an angle while driving straight

The shop is just being sloppy. Proper way is to center the steering wheel first and lock it with a bar, then adjust the tie rod ends to achieve 0 toe.

When I installed my JDM carbon fiber wheel, the hub spline was off by maybe 5 deg compared to the OEM wheel, and that annoyed me. Can't imagine 10 deg offset lol.
