just whatever snow accumulates in there and use 4WD when needed... oh, and my back bumper is about 200lbs... throw my back out every time I take it off, so I don't do that anymore...

The alignment shop you're going to is sloppy then.

But you can adjust. Plenty of links online and videos on how to.

It's all in the tie rods just need to be careful you don't do too much.

Basically mark where they are and adjust to each side.
If you have a total toe of .40 degree say, you still need to maintain that but right now it might be too much to one side.

When I had a similar issue I went back as it was unacceptable how much the steering was off for me.
Once I went back and told them I heard them say ' 1/4 turn to the left ' to the tech . Could see their markings after howb they went to adjust it 1/4 turn difference on either side.

But they didn't think it could be possible and they put it back on the machine and realized in the 24 hours I had it the alignment somehow came out already. So they re did the whole alignment and it was fine

Tough spot. The shop may refuse to accept fault and blame potholes or off-roading for the "drift", in which case take it to another shop or try to adjust it yourself. Post the shop's name and addres here so we know to avoid it.

You need decent tools to adjust the tie rod ends yourself, "parrot" jaw vise grips and/or a metric line wrench to avoid rounding off the wrench flats. Like Joe23 said, mark off the starting spot with a paint marker and make adjustments in 1/4-turn increments. Figure out the correct adjustment direction beforehand. :)

I put 2 x '60lbs' sand bags, but they are frozen solid now and id say weight much more that the 60lbs of sand I put in originally.

If I put it in 4hi every time there is slush or snow id never be in 2wd. I find I get the greatest added traction from the 2 bags positioned over the rear axle between the wheel wells.

It was Kal Tire London on Wharncliffe. They actually fucked up the first time and it was 20 degrees off so I took it back and the second time was still not great. Cost $100 for a problem, it was better before

I took my truck to kal tire in waterloo specifically for my steerig wheel being off, was probably out 20° and now its within 5° but not perfect. Too much of a hassel to get my truck down there during work hours so i just left it

Just looking at the backroad map that @tacoma16 posted. This section is literally around the corner from me.

The Yellow highlight going from Wilmot Line to Josephsburg Doesn't exist unless it is supposed to overlap Berlett's Road that is parallel to that stretch??

EDIT... So I started wandering around the map and found this near Perth Line...

you'll note river a couple of crossings on the Ninth (looks like only two properties on the GIS) Imagery is 2016.

ip66 is water blasted at fire hydrant 100psi from all angles
ip67 is submerged in 1 metre of water for 1/2 hour under pressure
ip68 is submerged in greater than 1 metre of water for greater than 1/2 hour as specified by the tester.

So for water crossings that we do IP66 is plenty. The speed ratio is another thing, but we aren't racing here lol

Wife and I were in iceland for a couple weeks last Christmas. Seen a few of those trucks there. Mostly in the north where the roads wash away or are completely impassable in winter. Couldn't talk my wife into getting one for a rental. Ended up with a Suzuki sidekick.
