Have any of you guys been to Busted Knuckles OR? It's closer to TN than most trails I've seen discussed in central AL.

I’ve been there. I’ve also heard it’s closing and busted knuckle is investing in a different property. But some of the trails are really narrow and winding. But I only went up the main trail and didn’t get to branch off too much bc of my “Stockoma” I had at the time. Have you tried Hawks Pride? Tons of fun to be had there! I had a blast

Ah ok. I've been to Lay Springs, which is now closed, Kentuck at Cheaha State Park, and Gray Rock. Nothing major, just stuck to the main trails and watched others break stuff in their rigs. lol

I thought I was set on upgrading to 285s after putting on the lift kit. But now that it has settled I’m not sure I still want to. The 265s don’t look as bad as I originally thought. The front end looks kinda goofy with the high clearance bumper and smaller tires though. Decisions decisions....

How are they for a daily driver? Would a all terrain tire be that much better for highway use, ect?

Well, I got everything done with the AUX fuse panel except for the remote/ignition wire to activate the solenoid and cleaning up the routing. I really wish I had used black wire instead of red to make it look cleaner; I still might go back and do this. I also think that I might try to make a new shelf with more space and holes for routing the wires to make it look cleaner.

Does anyone know if I can tap an ignition fuse or use an unused fuse in the under-hood fuse box? I'd really rather not fish wire all the way from the cabin fuse panel.

Also, does anyone know if Toyota used the same wiring harness for tech and not-tech package trucks? Since my truck does not have the tech package can I just put an add-a-fuse in one of the empty slots like for sunroof or heated seats?

Anybody have any interesting ideas on how to get ignition power to the solenoid?

Dang, looks like I missed out on a good ride this weekend. Guess that's what I get for slacking on keeping up with the thread :(

I'm down for a nice little trail ride on nothing too technical! Just turned 1400 miles this morning on the way to work. I'm gonna try and keep my Taco as pristine as I can!

Trail rides are always fun even if all the technical stuff is seen from the sideline. It's still better to be outside hanging out with folks than stuck in the house watching tv on any given afternoon.
