Not sure, I know there were already complaints about the template so we went in knowing there were issues. Others have reported that the snorkel doesn't 100% align on the pillar which is why most are not securing it there and using tape. Likewise with is, we used 3M tape because the bracket isnt 100% where its supposed to be on the A pillar

Is the template placing the body of the snorkel in the wrong place? That would explain it not lining up with the a pillar. Either that or the mold is just slightly off on these.

I did see on Tacoma world a custom template because the guys who run the $150 Amazon hilux snorkel on their trucks have the same
Problem. Maybe that’s the case here too. Only thing is this snorkel is meant for the Tacoma lol

As @JoeCOVA said, it wasn't a little off, it was half and even an entire hole's width off on a few holes. That is just unacceptable when people are drilling big friggin holes in their fender. I am def going to hold off on getting this until they fix the template.

Yes, that's the reason why I use 3M tape + Screws. I agreed with you on the template, I spent most of the time to measure and double measure and triple measure the holes to line up with the bolts.

Look at the build date. You don't want tires that has been sitting for 2 years or more

What does that have to do with a snorkel?

noob snorkel questions here. I live in a place where it rains ALOT. Do I need to worry about water making its way into the snorkel while driving? or does it some how sperate the water and drain it?

Snorkel separates the water through centrifugal force while driving

Wow we’re gonna be nearly twins, especially when I pick up a snorkel. I have the SSO bumper waiting to go on, but stealth 6s instead of f5s. Truck looks great.
