I don’t know about the whole driveshaft but I bet there’s somebody making greasable replacement joints . If not I’m sure they will be soon , I’d wait till your warranty expires before putting them in though , just in case .

No it does not just the axles don't believe me slide under it in 2wd and see if you can turn the front drive shaft. Toyota most likely does not use rear drive shaft fittings any more because people didn't grease them. When they wear out (100K or so) just replace them with greasable joints if you still own the truck.

I bought a pistol grip grease gun and use the flex hose. I had the lever style but that takes three hands to use sometimes. One to hold the barrel, one to hold the hose on the fitting and one to pump the lever. The pistol grip is a two handed affair... hold hose on fitting , squeeze grip with the other, done. I'm not a fan of the rigid nozzle. I try to grease every oil change.

I replaced my non-greaseable rear ujoints with Neapco 2-0052 ujoints with zerks on the cap. The Spicer version if you prefer is 5-1350-1X. This is for the manual trans on a 2018. I assume the same for 2019s. The ujoints on the manual are slightly larger than the auto. It's not too difficult if you take your time, or contact a driveshaft repair shop.

The version for the auto is discussed here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/greaseable-ujoints-for-late-2016-and-2017-tacomas.521461/

If they did then they would still be there what is the sense of having them if they don't get serviced. I do mine and you probably do yours, more often they are never serviced The drive shaft for the front diff does not turn in 2 wheel drive the ring and pinion do not turn in 2 wheel drive the disconnect is via the spider gears.

Maybe... Toyota goes back and forth between greasable and non-greasable; it happened with 2nd gens.
But, it begs the question; why leave them on the front driveshaft then?
I posted a video of it turning in 2wd.

Are you lifted much? If so, did you drop the diff any? Wondering what type of angle they had in the first place.

What grease? If it's a PTFE base grease, no.
Toyota specs; Lithium base chassis grease, NLGI No.2
A calcium sulfonate base grease is also acceptable; Redline, Spicer, etc.

It is sort of dumb to leave grease fittings on something that is used part time while a two piece drive shaft has none. The front drive is something Toyota picked up from GM it is designed for lazy people or those that are unable to figure out how a locking hub works. If you believe the shaft turns I going to guess you have never broken an axle in an open diff vehicle if you have then you will quickly notice your not going anywhere. If you have locking hubs you had better lock both or you will have no front drive. The drive shaft will turn the guts inside but the spider gears will just turn around and around and not drive the axle. Now I suppose it is possible with zero load for the viscosity of the gear grease to turn the drive shaft but I guarantee you can lay under the truck with the wheels on the ground and you can freely turn the front drive shaft.

Probably so about the grease turning the unloaded shaft. I believe a lot of these front drive shaft U-joint bind ups are from lack of 4 wheel drive use and/ or immersion in water. Occasional use of four wheel drive will spin the driveshaft and get the grease moving. Regular greasing is always a good idea in any case. I would always want a greaseable replacement part if it was to be had.
