I need a prepainted bumper end cover

I have a 2018 Tacoma Limited.

I was rear ended in a parking lot. (I bought a new Tacoma Limited in 2004 and was rear ended within a month of buying it. And now history has repeated itself. WTF!) It's the drivers side rear bumper cover. That's the only damage. It's just not worth making a claim but I'm not gonna just leave it either. It is getting repaired.

I have seen that I can get them anywhere from $50 unpainted up to $225 painted. I have found some fairly cheap painted but they are painted using the 202 paint code. Mine has the 218 paint code. I've thought about getting 1 painted with 202 paint code or even getting 2 bumper end covers with the 202 paint code so that they'd at least look the same. I can get 2 painted with 202 paint code for $100. I really want original though, OEM preferred but not a dealbreaker. Does anyone have any good links for what I want.

I went to Rockauto,com for part numbers but it's a little confusing there. I know that I need rear left. My options are:

VARIOUS MFR TO1104138 {#5215604900} Paint to Match Info
Left Rear Outer; w/Parking Assist

VARIOUS MFR TO1105138 {#5215504900} Paint to Match Info
Right Rear Outer; w/Parking Assist

What is the difference between this # (TO1105138) and this # (TO1104138)?

There are so many part #'s for this but these are black. If I knew exactly which one to buy, I would. Does anyone know the difference between these 2?

Would I be happy with paint code 202 or should I stick with paint code 218?

Regarding paint codes if it's not a perfect match you'll notice it every time you look at it until it drives you nuts. Best bet is to go with proper paint code.

Have you looked in the BST forum to see if someone has a cap for sale? Plenty of people here have been replacing rear bumpers with aftermarket and might be selling the take offs for what you need.

You are right. It would bother the bejesus out of me just knowing they were different even if I weren't looking at it.

If someone rear ended you.. why isn’t it worth it to make a claim with their insurance?

 

Looks like a parking lot bump and run to me (OP truck in parking spot and away)... if so, would have to file with own insurance and risk an increase in rates and/or pay a deductible?

3rd Gen rear drivers side bumper end cover paint code 218 (Midnight Black Metallic).

I'm having a hard time finding prepainted with the 218 paint code. There are plenty of new prepainted with 202 paint codes but want to match my truck.

They sell bumper cap covers in various colors and coating. I believe they sell for $149.00 pair, @Rob Daman has a YouTube video on it.
