Hi, I am in the process of buying a 2019 Tacoma TRD Double cab. It is not going to be 4WD. Funny how you don't realize how much you need a truck until you don't have a truck. I need a truck!
Currently I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU with a 3" lift on 35" ProComp tires. It's a good vehicle, but you can't haul much & the towing capacity is only 3500 lbs. Every time I need something from the lumber store, I have to hook up a trailer. This is not very convenient. So...I am trying to wheel and deal for a new Taco. I don't wheel/trail ride much so I didn't think I needed to get 4WD. I do still plan on towing a boat and occasionally have to go down the dirt roads. I am looking forward to learn tricks of the trade for Tacoma's. My main research right now will be to see if I can put 33" tires on a Tacoma TRD without putting on a lift. Honestly, It will be more of a mall crawler than a dirt king.

Really, I might have to rethink this. I rarely use the 4WD in my Jeep. Maybe our dirt roads aren't as bad in South Louisiana.

The number 42. But only for those that value the practicality of a good clean towel. You are welcome fellow hitchhikers.

Like what do u have to cut and how much?
I’m ok with cutting plastic but not too sure about cutting the frame or body metal.

You would have to trim a bunch of the plastic from the fender well, widen the fender diameter by a few inches, and cut the cab mount.
