    Workin' on it....
Even better! I’m not familiar with tank systems since I’ve got OBA but just glancing at this if it was indeed a few hundred cheaper than the Powertank stuff it seemed like not a bad deal.

But good to know it can be done even cheaper

It's just a matter of finding a cheap tank. Offerup and CL has them. Then Sierra Expeditions sells the 150psi regulator..(and does refills). Some misc fittings and hoses. Done.

Don’t do off-roading yet. Probably never will. But I use my nitrogen tank when my tires run low on my other cars.

Went and got on the ice again today. Been a few years since the last time out. 1st time for my boys and they loved it. My youngest is gung-ho to play hockey this year and skated until he couldn’t pick his feet up. Right at 2 hrs of solid ice time. Such a great day with the family.

Hockey was the main reason I had both hips replaced at 35 but wouldn't have changed a thing. Absolutely loved playing it was such a great sport to play and uber competitive even as an adult. Wouldn't go back and change a thing. Still miss being able to play.

I only ever played street hockey, but my kid is fascinated by the ice. I’m seeing an expensive future, but cheaper than therapy I suppose. He’ll have to be tough, driven and understand teamwork. I’m hoping it sticks

The roomie has a scuba tank that's just been sitting around, she used to use it for paintball but hasn't had use for it in years.
    IMG_2124.jpg

It's feckin hefty though, I'm guessing 20 lb capacity? Also I can pretty much guarantee it needs a retest.

Is it worth throwing a regulator on there? If I had the choice I'd probably roll with a much smaller tank as inflating 30's is not particularly air intensive...

Certs aren’t expensive. It would work depending on the thread. I’m not familiar with the scuba tanks

It's pretty brutal on the wallet especially if your kid gets good and starts making travel teams. I was lucky being only one of a handful of people that knew how to drive a Zamboni so I worked for the Coyotes part time mostly for the free ice time. Good gig 2-3 nights a week maybe 10-15 hours a week but only about 1-2 hours of real work in that.

Packed and trailer is loaded, heading to a camp in Prescott with my son's 6th grade class. I am only able to stay 2 days, but it will be a fun 2 days.

Every time I think I have received all the bills a new one shows up. Today's $376 bill was a nice surprise. Still waiting on my supplemental insurance claim to payout that will be a nice 1k or so relief.

I believe it will work. Just take it into Sierra and see if the threads will work with their regulator. as far as getting it tested... ehh.. not needed. Wil is a good dude.. he'll just fill it.

Argh jury duty notice came. Not the easy Scottsdale one. The dreaded Maricopa county one which means a trip downtown if called.
