Honestly it's a waste of time...the joint is already teflon lined and self lubricating...oiling em only attracts dirt and wears em out quicker. And hhiems usually dont squeak it's the bushing pivots that do...my 2 cents anyway.

But if you insist on lubricating them only a teflon base lube like triflow... if you put any other petroleum base lube on there itll swell the teflon liner and wear the joint out in a heartbeat

What did you guys do with your intake hole? Lol, went to the Dezert this weekend and a shot ton of rocks got inside. Thinking of putting a wire mesh screen on?

If I still had wheel wells I'd chop the intake tube flush with the well and then screen over that or reloacate it entirely

tundra front clip, tundra brakes, cab cage, camburg long travel, archive garage rear shock relocate
Sorry to beat a dead horse, but can we talk about 1st gen tundra rear ends on a 1st gen tacoma. Is it necessary to remove the stock spring perches for the new perches and ubolts to fit? Does anyone have a few pictures of theres installed preferably someone who stayed soa (ya I know go ahead and call me stupid for staying soa)

Yeah, that’s the option I’m looking at, seems to be the best way so far. Don’t have much space to relocate.

This is what I did... Not my pic but similar setup except I used some flexible intake tube from summit, cost like 30-40$ and took about 10 minutes. Been a solid solution for me.

My friend's dad up chopped one of his big toes off with the lawn mower when I was a kid. My friend's little sister came running when she heard him yelling in the front yard - f that - I would imagine what it was like every time it was summer and he walked around barefoot.

Most of my fender well is there. I’ve been in deep water, snow and silt and filter always comes out on top.

Yes you have to cut off the tunrda spring perches. They are placed wider on the axle. I think 3" each compared to your narrower frame.

    Haven't done mine yet.

Ya I'm aware its 3in wider and the tundra perches cant be used I just wasnt sure if they were over far enough to not have to be cut off

@Anthony250 has his on there - using them as part of the strike pad, but doesn't make as much sense to leave them on if you're soa - doubt they'd get in the way though. Only thing I could think of is interfering with the shock mount.
