Reminds me of the time I served in the jury on a DUI case in Scottsdale about 5 years ago. I tried my best to get out of it. Dad was a cop way back in the day. Know multiple first responders. Previous DUI etc. I thought no way they'd pick me. I severely underestimated the lengths people will go to to get dismissed. One dude told the judge he was an anarchist and basically told the judge his opinion was worthless and he wouldn't abide by any govt instruction(yet he showed up)

I ended up getting picked. The case was dude got a DUI on new year's eve in old town Scottsdale. Stop was at 1:30am his blood test was .153 so extreme DUI his lawyer was trying to build a case on the fact the margin of error on blood tests was .005 so he theoretically could have been below the extreme threshold. One other fact blood draw took place at almost 4AM

Here's where he went wrong. His story was he was drinking early in the day and stayed home on NYE while his girlfriend went out to party without him. She called him for a ride at closing time. He hadn't drank since around 1pm(his story)

Unfortunately for him most likely lying about his timeline that meant that his bac would have been much higher at time of stop vs time of blood draw thus putting him in a range where even with the margin of error he still would have been extreme. We found him guilty in 15 min.

Had he told the likely truth which probably was he was partying with his girlfriend at the bar and he started drinking late there would have been a reasonable doubt to make his case and his bac been lower at time of arrest vs blood test making the margin of error plausible.

Poor dude prob spent 10-15k on a lawyer to go to trial to

Must be an old beer. All their canned beer used to be like that until around early November when they switched to a standard top. Needless to say I was thoroughly disappointed when I opened my first tower station at my buddies bachelor party.

Anyone here have advice on getting back in the routine of working out? We’re lazy here.

We have an elliptical & treadmill plus a little dumbbell rack & a bench that can change positions. Today’s the first day I’ve touched it in months lol. Gonna try to stay motivated & keep hitting it everyday

Start small and set a schedule that you can commit to. You would be amazed at what you can accomplish with 45 min to an hour and a plan. Before I started AZT my routine was 6-8 hours a week. which was 5 days a week. Always after work cause I am not a morning person unless it involves something i really really want to do like golf, hike or wheel. I had a written schedule in my training book for each day.

I'm working on getting back to where I was as well. I'm naturally a big/muscular guy from my German heritage so cardio is more key for me with my body type. That said, if you are similar in needing to shed a few pounds I would consider doing treadmill work until you find a healthy exhaustion point and then jump on the elliptical to continue the burn.

I have noticed that my body will fatigue depending on the treadmill speed at about 20-30 minutes. At this point my body is no longer fresh and has to fight the energy levels and so for the 25-50 min interval it is working harder. I have noticed that if I do cardio for extended periods of 45-50 min with mixed exercises that I def see a difference in both my performance and trimming up. It might be different results depending on your body type and what you are trying to gain back.

If you are naturally skinny, then mix in some pushup routines with some light barbells and determine your set number frequency based off what you want...leaner = higher reps, bulk = lower reps. Its not anything crazy in terms of theory here, but just a mentality I live by.

The biggest key: Be honest with your work out and have some consistency in the week for working out. The more you change up and confuse your body with different work outs, the harder it will try to adapt which will lead to a better burn which is always a good thing. The guys in 300 trained for 6 months straight with only two days out of that period being the same work out. Good luck man, I could always go for a jog if you arnt a speed demon.

I just have the know-how from back in high school & like my first year of college. I let myself go after that lol before I started workout in high school I was just a regular slim dude but now just chubby from junk food & not exercising. I do notice I lose weight quick & I have a decently quick metabolism.. I was I believe 5’10, 180 & 16% bfp. So not all that “big” just in shape. Currently at 230 & fuck checking my bpf lol.
I feel I can commit to going & doing all the things I remember. It’s just staying in the routine. Breaking the 2 week period is what I’m trying to do. I tried getting back in shape before but only lasted a week.
As for cardio I did the elliptical for about 8min til my legs started to give out lol I also like to play basketball I just have no one to play with so I practice my shots at the in laws every now & then
