the issue with cutting the frames up is the fact that wherever i weld them back together they'll rot. theyre not ment to be cut like that

I forget how much of the frame is boxed, but if you cut it where it isn’t boxed then I don’t see much of an issue if you treat it properly afterwards.

easier way to ship i a frame would be cut the cross members and leave the main rails intact. some of the cross members even unbolt

Yeah that doesn’t sound too bad. That would save a lot on bulkiness. Cutting the middle crossmember and letting it sit long.
