Frog lube turns to glue once it gets cold. I stopped using it after I started having issues with it on one of my AR builds I was experimenting using it. It gets really gummy and is a bitch to clean.

I've followed the instructions to the T. Even called them and discussed my issues. I am not the only one that has ran into these issues. At one of the carbine classes I went to one guys gun went down because of the stuff. I bought into it at first too. But with as much as I shoot and dragging my stuff through the ringer I'll stick with what has never let me down just some basic ol' CLP

Frog Lube or basic bitch CLP

I hate frog lube after having issues with it in the cold.

Frog Lube has been notorious for having issues in the cold for a long time. People will say what they want about Fire Clean but it’s been my go to over the years. Have seen countless weapon systems coated in CLP rust from use in the field after seeing just a little bit of rain while those of us who used fire clean had zero issues. Also makes cleaning a breeze.

I've used it not bad but i think it's a little over priced for what it is.

    stuff
That's interesting I'd never heard of cold weather issues with it. Makes sense if a heavy coating of it is used. I've hunted in snow with my bolt action rifles with frog lube on them and never noticed anything. Could it be more noticeable on AR's in cold weather?

It wasn’t too bad really. Night driving with snow on the interstate really sucks. Especially in the little corolla.

By the time we stopped the front of my car had a inch of ice built up. Knocked out all my sensors so I didn’t even have cruise control. Modern tech is great until it’s not, then it’s just a burden
