I would be interested in coming along if you guys are open to a new member joining in on the fun. I have a mostly stock 4X4 SR5 with some bigger tires, but looking at the trail review it doesn't seem too gnarly...

Nice dude! Yeah Coxey road is pretty cool and should be filled with snow if we come back down that way

I'm supposed to run up Coxey Rd. on Saturday with a buddy but I have a feeling he may puss out because of this storm.

I may be staying the night in big bear and snowboarding the next day. I don’t know about camping though, seems like it’d be too cold out. Also is there a group size limit we want to keep? Maybe split into 2 groups to not be to conspicuous, especially if the ranch owner is on the surly side.

not sure what time we would be back. If we come back down through 3n16 it’ll be a good chance night will catch up to us but not sure. But no, no plans to camp out

Looks like we might catch some snow on Saturday. If anybody has chains for their truck I would take them just in case. Here is a pic from a few weeks ago. This is on 3N16 on the way up to Big Bear.

Looks like it will be raining hard that day. If it does then I’m probably out.
