Did you turn the key on? You only get power to that fuse if the trucks on. Fuse good?

Been doing some reading. Appears the new trend in overlanding is to Pelfry your customers. Seems that trend has spread to trailer manufacturer Moby1 and Inka. Such a shame that just building a product someone has put a $20k deposit on is so damn hard. I mean damn it doesn't cost anywhere near $20k to build a teardrop trailer. I guess telling someone you're going to do your job is just too much of a hassle these days. Both entities are now shut down with customers in limbo about how to try getting their money back.

so i have learned some random facts going thru what i missed once i got off watch last night, @gixxerphil and i are the same hieght, and @m603holden is a fricken giant!!!!! haha. And if the gaint complains bout putting stuff in the roof rack, im screwed. or just have to clumb into the bed. Oh, and ifffffff someone was to try and build things for the tacos, i would be a willing tester of any gear!!

 

Yes. I had it to the ACC fuse by drivers footwell.
Fuse out; radio off. Fuse w/tap in; radio on, no power to dashcam.
Tried with the cig outlet fuse as well. Same deal. Whatever the fuse is for will work but no power going to the dashcam.

 

Well then, did you plug the wire for the dash cam in then?? sorry had to. haha. sounds to me like there is a break in the line somewhere. If you have it plugged in but its not getting power, but the item you spliced into is. Did you wire red to red and black to black?

 

I didn't wire anything, which is what I'm concluding the problem to be.

That could be it. weird. did you get the Roav dashcam listed in the products discussed? ive thought about getting one, id like a set up for off roading and also for the idiots driving in florida
